Liberty Christian Academy was established in 2005 after the closing of Warrenton Christian School to meet the need for Christian Education in the St. Charles, Warren, Lincoln and Montgomery County region.  We are an independent, interdenominational school offering a Christ-centered alternative to public school education.

The vision of Liberty Christian Academy is to produce Godly young people who make a series of right choices regardless of the crossroads they encounter.

Liberty Christian Academy is governed by the School Board.  The School Board is elected by PAL (People Advancing Liberty) members, an organization consisting of parents, guardians, grandparents, faculty, staff, and others who see a need for advancing Christian education.

Members of PAL serve jointly on committees with members of the Board to make necessary improvements, break down barriers, and build unity among LCA's constituents.

EDUCATIONAL PHILOSOPHY

The entire process of education is seen as a means used by the Holy Spirit to bring the students into fellowship with God, to develop in them a Christian mind-set academically and to train them in Godly living, so they can fulfill God’s total purpose for their lives personally and vocationally (Prov. 22:6).

The authority for such an education comes both from God’s command that children be taught to love God and place Him first in their lives (Mark 12:30), and from the fact that parents are responsible for the total education and training of their children (Deut. 6).  At the parent’s request, Liberty Christian Academy, along with the parents and churches becomes a partner in providing this education.

 Curriculum

A Beka is the primary curriculum used from preschool through high school.  A Beka places a strong emphasis on phonics from an early age and provides the foundation for strong reading skills. A Beka curriculum keeps learning lively, interesting & memorable.
